Baking: Loving the Holidays…and Chocolate

Having a little fun this afternoon with my Baby Girl. Who ever said you were too young to bake? I think not, Sofia Marie is only 2.5 months and she helped her Mama today in the kitchen. And by helped I mean drooled, talked, giggled, and threw around some empty wrappers. She was the best kind of Baking Buddy in my mind, stayed out of my way and didn’t judge me when I ate the raw cookie dough. 

Want an easy Holiday Baking Recipe? Then this one if for you! Four simple ingredients, Sugar Cookie Dough, Pecans, Milk Chocolate and Butterscotch Chip. That’s it, that’s all! Also this recipe can totally be changed up, add any nuts or dried fruit you’d like, use any Chips of choice…. Change them to suit your family, OR DON’T!   2. Mmmm these look so yummy! Alas, they don’t sell premade dough here in Australia as far as I know. Apart from slice n’ bake M & M stuff.
    I made your Creamy Lemon Crumb Squares a few weeks ago and they were sooo good…they didn’t last long in my house!

  3. Oh my! No pre-made Dough where both of you live…. Should be a crime! Ha Ha
    We all know “made from scratch” if both better in taste and for you…. so lets just say you still have it better than us!

    Those Lemon Bars are TO. DIE. FOR. Great eh! Now that you have reminded me of them again I shall make them once more for the Holidays.
