The Best Jeans; an unexpected surprise!

This past weekend the stars aligned. I had a chance to go Jeans shopping without any children. Sammy was home, and both girls were under the weather and completely content with snuggling up to an afternoon of Netflix. After the horrible event earlier that week, putting 2 of my favorite pairs of jeans to rest, I had nothing to wear. LITERALLY I slipped into a pair of the best jeans ever (Rockstars, of course) and headed off to find… MORE BEST JEANS EVER! One might think I would’ve headed straight to Old Navy, because we all know they’re the maker of about 90% of the Jeans I own. […]

There are two kinds of people in this world, one who loves a good night out, and the other who would much prefer a night in cozy and bundled in layers. I have a tough time deciding which side of the fence I fall on, I do love getting a sanity break every now and again, going out with friends, however give me the option and I’d probably say night in, with good snacks, a cup of tea and and a binge-worthy series on Netflix. Our Trader Joe Fall Food Haul

Here in Canada we don’t have the luxury of running out in our pajamas in a state of emergency to replace an empty jar of cookie butter for the planned evening events of Netflix binge watching. NOPE! Not here. We have to find our passports, dust it off, find a border crossing that isn’t sitting an an hour wait, drive the 45 minute to the said crossing, wait, get all nervous with innocents, get drilled by the crossing guard on why you’re requesting a visit to the states to simply get a jar of mushed up cookies.  That my friends is what you call some serious dedication […]

For Fox Sake {what stella wore}

What Stella Wore Fog + Fern Top // Joe Fresh Jeans // Gap Shoes // Fog + Fern Headband I mean she wears A LOT of clothing! It’s safe to say I dress and re-dress Stella Grace 3 times a day (because we’re all about self feeding right now). I feel like if anyone knows clothes it would be a parent at this very stage. We’re stretching, pulling, rolling and tossing so many items of clothing off our babes and into the hamper a day it should be a sport. If anyone is going to be a concessionaire of quality clothing it’s us! AM I RIGHT?! We […]

#LMMSELFLOVE: Finding your Unicorn Bra

  Can I tell you something? Can you believe I’ve never owned a properly fitted bra? For the past…. Hmmmm for number sake let’s say 20 years, I’ve gone about life, wearing a bra I assumed was my size, and just like the rest of you, upon calling it a day it was the first thing I flung off; because OH GAWD was it uncomfortable.  Over the last few months I’ve been tackling a PRETTY SENSITIVE but rather important subject; self love. Trying to get down to the bottom of why I find it so damn difficult to love myself as is. Breaking down and pushing aside the stereotypes […]
