For my Bridal Shower my sisters had each person attend bring their favorite recipe. Which they eventually put together in a cook book for me. Such a fabulous idea as I got pretty much the BEST of the BEST recipes from each and every family, and we all know this is gold. One of the recipes was for Porky Pine Meatballs. A ball of meat that looked like a Porcupine when it was cooked. I made a few adjustments to the ingredients just from what I thought would make it a wee bit tastier as well as changed it to a slow cooker recipe vs. oven cooked. It worked fabulously. So Easy. So Creamy. So Yummy.
Let me know if you give it a try – I think you will LOVE it. Also if you make any changes of your own, do tell! I always like a new re-vamped recipe.
PS: I MUST. MUST. Say a thank you to my sister and her husband for purchasing Sammy and I a new slow-cooker for Christmas. We have used it 3 times this week. I LOVE practical gifts.
