DAY SIX Disney Relief :: Meet Lindsay

Hi Little Miss Mama’s Friends, I am pleased to meet you all, as you know Tairalyn and her fam-jam are off enjoying the likes of Mickey, Minnie and all the other Disney characters and Princesses, while I am stuck here filling in for her.  KIDDING.  Honestly, it’s an honor to be filling in for her, she is admired by many, including myself and I feel very lucky that she selected little ol’ me to fill in for the day.  So let’s get this party started!

Hi I am Lindsay, aka OhSoLindsay, admin assistant by day, television guru by night, with a few life updates along the way!  And now I am a proud new homeowner.  I started blogging a few years ago when Tairalyn told me to, do as she says or else right?  Kidding again, as you can tell I am quite the jokester, I love writing blogs that are light and fun and less like the homework project you were dreading to read.  Tairalyn gave me the inspiration and confidence to start my blog and assured me that there are others out there like me who love to watch TV as much as I do, and like talking about it!  So I started blogging about television, as I am the human TV guide and have always been this way.  I love television, I love how I can get sucked right into a story line and then when some dies when they shouldn’t have, I cry for hours and then decide to boycott the show for a bit, not to mention any names or anything 😉 *cough cough Grey’s Anatomy*.

I enjoy using it as an outlet to share the things I enjoy, slowly evolving it into a personal blog about myself and what I am doing and where I am going.  And now currently about living on my own for the first time in my own home!  But the adventures have just begun, so come by and check me out sometime.

IMG_20140116_195251How do I know Little Miss Mama?  Well how do you know her?  How do we all know her?  Social media, blogging, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Right?  Actually I must admit she is my BESTIE!  That’s right, my best friend, someone who knows everything about me and still wants to be friends with me, how lucky am I?

We met at the old age of 8 years old, in grade 3 when everyone was new, in this big new school; we weren’t even in the same class, but it was bestie at first sight.  I think our friendship solidified in grade five when I would drink my juice box up my nose?!  What do you think T?  Was that it?  Or was it when we would dance to Gangsters Paradise in the basement?  Or sing out loud to backstreet boys in the car? Or when we would all wear matching overalls and go skating at Stardust?  Or was it in high school when we would skip school and…. Well that’s enough about us!

Pretty much inseparable now these days, texting hourly and getting together often, both laughing at the dumbest things and when we get the giggles we find everything funny.  Sammy thinks we’re crazy, but we’re just us.  And that’s the best part about it!  I also get the pleasure of spoiling that little girl of theirs with everything and anything I can and get to have the honorable title of Auntie Lindsay!

Okay so I don’t want to take up your whole day, as I could go on and on and on, so our time must come to an end, I hope you all enjoyed getting to know me as much as I enjoyed writing and sharing with all of you! Tairalyn told me I had to share 3 of my most popular posts, so as I started my blog by her demands I shall share them all with you now. Enjoy!

Feel free to connect with Lindsay on social media via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. She is seriously one of the best things that has happened to me. She is always smiling, Starbucks in hand, ready to help anyone looking for a hand. She is actually THAT person. I love her so much, and I just know you will too!
