DIY: $10 Jewelry Organizer

RINGBOXHeader

Who doesn’t love an afternoon craft that will result in beautiful organization or their jewels? I do! I do! When I saw this on pinterest, I thought how badly I’ve needed this little gem in my room not only to keep me organized but to secretly put my foot down when it comes to Olly’s choice of toys these days. Am I the only cat-mama who find their earrings and rings under area rugs and in floor vents around the house? Not anymore!

I couldn’t have spotted this craft at a better time, how sweet would this be given to your bestie as a Valentines gift? Custom with their own monogram, like mine, or with their favorite quote? The skies the limit really, that and it needs to be printable. I designed my monogram on picmonkey.com, printed it off and then shaded the back of the page so that when I traced over top it would transfer through. It worked perfectly! One of the first times I had an idea in my head that turned out just as I imagined. #winning

Wooden Box $3 // Felt $2 // Puffy Paint $1 // Gold Paint $3 // Paint Brush $1 // GRAND TOTAL: $10

Next we went over it with a puffy paint to give it height and texture and then we let it sit to dry. Once dry, we painted over the entire box with our favorite golden sparkly paint. We then snagged some sheets of felt from our local dollar store and cut them to size the inside of our box folding them like a fan or an accordion. We used the help of close pegs to keep them folded perfectly until they were all in the box and we removed them one at a time, adjusting when needed.

Couldn’t be more happy with the outcome, Olly on the other hand is pissed; he’s resorted to Sammy’s socks!
