Art isn’t cheap, end of story.
As some of you know {here} we purchased Sofia a “real” bed a few weekends ago; along with this came a bedroom haul and of course decor concepts running my thoughts 24/7. Sofia made it easy for me really, she chose an adorable duvet cover from ikea with dressed-up animals doing human-like activities; from fishing to picking apples to riding a train and even gardening. I really had the most adorable concept to work with. I knew we were eventually going to need something for her walls as they were bare, but it wasn’t until Sammy mentioned something that I knew it needed to be figured out sooner rather than later {when men notice I sorta think it’s a priority}. The walls were lonely, their was no denying that, however like I made very clear above ART ISN’T CHEAP!
After putting my thinking cap on I came up with a pretty cute idea, if I may boast. Headed over to ikea and got started on Sofia’s adorable yet affordable art. Naturally this concept could be used with any children’s story books, I chose one that I felt matched her overall room theme best.
Here is how we got to the final product:

Thanks so much Anna, glad you love it so much! Funny because after doing this I thought of so many more books I could frame from both for children and adults.
Thanks so much for coming by and commenting.

These are adorable!!! What a great idea! Was this a new book or a story she read before? I love the hedgehog, he’s becoming the new fox trend!
