3/4 cup Skim Milk |  cold, low fat
1/4 cup Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 large Egg
1 cup White Flour
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Butter | cold
3/4 cup Chocolate Chips
1 large Egg White
1 1/2 tbsp Sugar

Preheat oven to 375°.

Combine Milk, Sugar Vanilla and Egg in a bowl, stirring with a whisk.
Next, sift Flours, Baking Powder, Salt all into a large bowl, and cut in cold butter.
Fold in the Chocolate Chips, making sure not to over-mix. Adding the Milk mixture, stir just until moist.
Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead as little as possible, just until it forms a 9-inch circle.
Line a baking sheet with Parchment Paper and cut the scones into 12 equal wedges.
