5 weeks has passed us and I think a Pregnancy Update is in order, wouldn’t you agree?
We’ve had lots of changes in those 4 weeks including a 6lb weight loss, thankfully I am on a close watch with the Dietitians and Gestational Diabetes Doctors and they’ve reassured me baby is still growing at a normal pace and this was just because of the diet change. I am down to seeing them only once a week which is nice, makes it way easier when I am dragging poor Sofia along to the appointments, that and the fact that they’re at the Hospital. I always worry that Sofia will see something unpleasant that I will have to explain. Although the floor I am being monitored on is mostly all happy with new babies being born getting up to the 3rd floor can take seeing some not so happy moments. This is life I know, but I’m trying my very hardest to have Sofia see everything about this baby as a positive thing as she has to this point.
I’m going to tap more into my Gestational Diabetes struggles and actually a look into my daily life managing them the best I can. Another one of my famous picture-heavy posts, the way I know best on how to explain the situation, so stay tuned for that. I hope for it to help those out with GD with some meal ideas and of course ways to track water in-take, fit in exercise (3 to 4 times a day) and do it with as much grace as possible.
Without further ado, here is my week 33 pregnancy update;
