REVIEW: KeraFiber

My story on why I tried KeraFiber:

Like many mothers’ I went through a point in my pregnancy where a rather ridiculous complaint came out of my mouth {that totally never happens when you’re pregnant, always in a sain mind frame, right?}, I complained about having too much hair. From the multivitamin I had been taking since before baby was even conceived, to the increase in hormone levels, to say the least I was a hair making machine. Putting my hair up in a pony-tail was a two-man-job, I couldn’t even loop it around once people! This is just how thick my hair had gotten.

Now fast forward to current day, the day where I would give almost anything to be reliving that horrible situation I once had; this my friends is why I gave KeraFiber‘s Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Serum a try.

After giving birth, it was like Sofia had flicked a switch on her way out, you know the one I’m talking about mamas’ the hair-be-gone switch. I started to loose all that lush hair that I had inherited over the course of my pregnancy. Slowly it would come out as I combed out the knots each shower I took, which as a new mother was few in far between. I imagine my showers were far more stressful than they needed to be as my lump-some loss was over the course of a few days.

…loosing up to 100 hairs a day is normal {statistic by}

The loss slows down and I’m left with an amount of hair that is really a horrifying fraction of what it used to be, I could easily wrap an elastic around this pony-tail 4 times! I’ve spoken with my naturopath on many occasions and she claims most of the loss can be blamed on my hormone levels. So to all you mamas’ out there losing their hair, talk to your doctor or naturopath about getting your hormone levels checked out, could save you from losing more than you have to. For me it was a tad different as I recently went off birth control, my hormone levels were all over the place, they might as well been speaking french. But I think we have it managed now, and my friends I can say I am very grateful for the head of hair that I am left with.

I was approached by KeraFiber asking if I might want to try some of their hair products, these types of offers I get often, but don’t usually accept as I’m very particular with my hair for obvious reasons. BUT after further reading into what KeraFiber is all about, I really liked what I read. The ingredients sounded wonderful and the promise sounded even better. Thicker hair. YES PLEASE. I tried both, their hair thickening shampoo and conditioner, as well as their protect and revive hair serum {loaded with Keratin and Argan Oil, we all know this is like liquid gold for your locks}. The results were exactly as I had hoped, but not what I expected, says the girl who hates to be disappointed.

My hair after just the first wash felt thicker, crazy right?! I continued to use the product over the course of  the month and the result were greater and greater every single time. I doubt I have to tell you this as you can simply see it on the last few “what I wore” styled posts I’ve shared. My hair not only looks thicker, but feels this way too. When it comes to naturally curly hair is so very hard to tell when someone is struggling with hair loss as the curls can be a great disguise of that. So many people still compliment me on how much hair I have, to my reply, come join me in the shower, it’s not nearly what you think, my hair is a total tease!

As always, my comments are always open for any questions you have about the product, so ask away if you are left with any. If you struggle with thinning hair or hair loss, KeraFiber would be a great product to try.
