Did you guys know this was a thing?
You can send a letter to MICKEY MOUSE and he will reply?!
Just a few things to keep in mind;
- They say it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get a reply, and they’re not lying. For us it was 8 weeks plus
- If your child writes a sweet little letter, make a copy before you send it, better yet save the original, send the copy
- The mailing address is Walt Disney Company, Attention: Fan Mail Department, 500 South Buena Vista Street, Burbank California, 91521
I saw this on Pinterest in good time before we ourselves left to Disneyland. Thought it would be fun for us to write Minnie Mouse and tell her about how excited we’re to see her in May. Wasn’t sure if she would respond simply or actually write out a response to our letter so I didn’t have Sofia go into great detail in fear she may get disappointed.
>>We sent it off January 10th and received a reply in the mail the last week of March<<
The excitement was high for the both of us, I think she had forgotten all about it and I was just in awe that finally something I had done off Pinterest did not FAIL ME. It was a good day in the Ciulla household. Wins all around!
It arrived in postcard form and was addressed directly to Sofia, saying Hi from all her pals at Disneyland. Digitally autographed by all her favorite characters, Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald and Pluto; not sure if she didn;t notice or didn’t care about it not being authentically signed, likely she was just pleased as ever to see that her letter to Minnie Mouse was received.
This means she knows we’re coming Mama!
I bet she can’t wait to see us!
THANK YOU DISNEY for going to extra mile… always! We shall see you soon, where I will thank you again in person!
PS: You didn’t think we would leave without you, did you? Follow along on Instagram #TheCiullasDoDisneyland or #LittleMissMamaTravels! Travelling with 4 kids, 2 of which are under 10 months should make for some fun times, that or a whole lotta’ laughs. Either way I doubt you’ll wanna miss it!
