Most of you probably have no idea that I am an AVID Tea Sipper. Unless of course you are one of the following A) personal friend B) My Mom or C) here from my original Blog LahTeaDah {www.lahteadah.blogspot.com}.
I sip like I’m at the ripe old age of 96 and when I do, I prefer my lips only rest on the rim of a piece of fine china that has seen more than I ever will in a lifetime. I can honestly say that Tea tastes better when it sits on a saucer and you can’t help but raise your “pinky” as you drink.
So this may be a mere first on Little Miss Mama, however it will not be the last my friends. I would love to go back to making this a weekly post, like I had on LahTeaDah – and hope one day to get back to that. Venture out and try some Tea’s you may not have even though to before. I mean really, what do you have to loose?
So…. Pinkies up…. Sip….. ENJOY
Tea Company: Boston Tea Company
Tea Name: Blueberry Kiwi White Tea
{Tender as the touch of a loving hand, this delicate Chinese white tea soothes your weary soul with the sweet juiciness of blueberries and kiwi and the gentle scent of meadow-grown malva flower petals. Brew some inner-peace and drink up a good-for-you cup!}
Tea Type: White
Tea Tasting Location: In Baby Sofia’s Nursery while Sammy and I put up her Curtains
Tea Accompaniments: Ice….. You heard me right, we went for a chilled Tea and not the traditional warm Tea. I couldn’t help myself, the sun was shining and their is nothing better than steeping Tea on the porch while my neighbors wished we were better friends.
Leave Rating: 4.9
5 for the best and 1 for the worst
Liquor Color: Golden, Sun, Cornflower Yellow
Aroma: Floral, Blueberries, Fruity, calming cup of love
Taste: The first sip gave me soft notes of sweet florals with bold but smooth fruity flavors. You could no doubt taste the blueberries and also the kiwi that made for a very sweet sip.
Sipping Notes: Choosing to have this Tea chilled, on ice, was just perfection at its finest. It quenched my thirst perfectly as I worked around the house, and had taking breaks a frequent thing between cleaning the kitchen and doing the laundry. I enjoyed it so much, I almost look forward to some rainy days ahead which I can make the switch and consume it HOT.
TEA TASTING: Blueberry Kiwi White Tea
