It doesn’t take a lot to please us,
but it does take a great deal to impress us.
As you all know last week we returned from a family vacation in California, unless of course you ask miss Sofia, then no it was not California or even Anaheim for that matter, it was Disneyland. Disneyland is where we went. It was our first vacation with Sofia that required travelling by air and it was a mix of emotions, which I am sure a lot of you can understand, but I will get into that on another post.
Ahaheim Vacation House PROMOCODES
LMM25 to get $25 off a night with a home rental or; LMM10 to get $10 off a night with a condo rental
Today we share our experience with opting for a home rental vs. hotel reservation. BEST DECISION EVER (next to deciding to go to Disneyland of course). I found this company, Anaheim Vacation House, online and reached out via e-mail. I quickly connected with a lovely lady, LaDonna, who helped us choose and secure the best home she had for our group’s size and vacation style. We WANTED enough rooms to comfortably sleep 6, enough bathrooms that allowed the mornings to run smooth. We NEEDED a pool; this was a luxury a hotel offers that we were not willing to give up. LaDonna and I agreed that Destination 17 was best suited for us. She continued to be a great help even after the home was secured. She sent us suggestions on local grocery stores and restaurants and even a great list of sites to visit for finding restaurant coupons and a brilliant resource of free or nearly free things to do in
California Disneyland during our stay.
Let me tell you a little about Destination 17; 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 1 mile from Disneyland, a private pool, fire pit and a garage converted into a games room…..this house was all we dreamed of and more! Better than any hotel we could find near the park, and at a comparable nightly rate. It had the privacy and comfort of being in your own home (with free TV, movies, gaming system, wifi, and telephone) but the added luxury of a pool, BBQ, fire-pit and games room. This home had it all, and we utilized it to the fullest. No elements were missed, from the hall closet full of board games, toddler toys, rain ponchos, extra pillows, blankets and towels, to the kitchen stocked with a waffle iron, blender, toaster, rice cooker, coffee maker and crock pot. I can’t tell you enough just how thoroughly impressed we were. The house is laid out perfectly for 2 families, with 2 master suites (one of which has a kind-sized bed) and bathrooms with beautiful walk in showers. The 2 other bedrooms are double bunk-beds and could easily fit 2 people on each level (we even put that to the test a few of the nights as Sofia requested a sleeping buddy on the top bunk; daddy to the rescue). The additional full bathroom had a tub and the half bath was located straight off the front door, perfect for after 8 hours in the park and far too many bottled water.
LaDonna also graciously offered me 2 special promo codes, without expiry, for you all to use if you are planning on vacationing in California. They have both condos and private homes that you can rent and using the codes LMM25 will get you $25 off each night on a home rental, and code LMM10 will give you $10 off each night on a condo rental. Brilliant right?!
OVERALL our stay was enjoyed by every last little person. We cannot thank Anaheim Vacation House enough for all that they did for us, and all who stay with them. From their customer service, to the added touches in their homes to the amazing memories we now cherish.
For those considering renting a home for their next stay in Anaheim, if you have any questions or concerns (that the 28 five star reviews don’t already settle) please don’t hesitate for a moment to e-mail us directly and ask any questions you have. We highly recommend them, and will be using them from here on out for our vacations throughout California.
