Mama’s Day is just around the corner and what better holiday screams for a DIY than that of the one who gave you life. I know my mama deserves each and everyone of these gifts – plus more. What’s really exciting is that its my very first mother’s day as a mama and because Sofia Marie is a little too young to craft with her wee little fingers, I think I’m going to make a few of them on her behalf… to me, from me!
Has your little one made you something for Mother’s Day that has held a special place in your heart? Do share – a love a heart warming story just as much as the next sap!
Handmade Soap
A mother’s job is by far the most rewarding yet extremely taxing on her emotions. Every mother should be treated to one night a week of pure relaxation, and what better way than a night in the bath with homemade soap. A gift that’s not only special but healthier for her skin.

Not much of a sewer? Avoid hurting yourself and just buy a plain pillow case. She’ll never know, your secrets safe with me.

We all know she is going to be the one who cleans them all, end of night. Don’t forget when you’re giving her this gift to make sure you pick her up a pack of chalk in her absolute favorite colors.
